Authentification of a signature

If you have to sign a document (e.g. a declaration of approval) in front of a notary (authentification of your signature), please make an appointment with us directly by telephone. Please bring the document to be signed and your valid identity card or passport with you to this appointment.

The costs for a signature certification depend on the concrete business value of the declaration to be signed. The legal fee range is - with an English certification note - between € 30,94 and € 108,29 for a signature certification - depending on the value of the issue that the document is about. As a rule, you will also be invoiced at the same time as the appointment. Please pay in cash at the appointment.

If the certified document is to be sent by us to a third party additional fees will be charged.

Authentification of photocopies

If you need certified photocopies of a document, then you can  drop off the corresponding original here in the office from Mondays to Thursdays between 10:00 and 10:45 a.m. without appointment. If you are unable to bring the documents in person during these hours, you may give them to someone else. Please enclose a note with your telephone number and indicate whether - if you need more than one document certified - you want them to be sent later by you to the same recipient (then the copies can be bound) or whether you need the certified photocopies separately.We make the copies from the original ourselves, you do not have to make copies yourself.

You can usually pick up the documents again on the next business day (or the day after)  at the same time together with the certified copies against payment of the invoice amount in cash.

Please note: Certifications can only be made from (handwritten) signed original documents or certified documents, not from printed out pdf-documents and the like! The language in which the document is written is irrelevant, since only the visual conformity of the copy with the original is notarized. The notary does not make translations.

Costs per document: 11,90 € (up to 10 pages), with foreign language certification note: 15,47 €.

By car

On the A 100 take exit 20-Tempfelhofer Damm, then head north on the B96 (Tempelhofer Damm/Mehringdamm) until you reach Mehringdamm (on the left approx. 100 m before the Mehringdamm/Gneisenaustr. intersection).

By public transport

Take the subway to U-Bhf Mehringdamm (U6/U7), then walk south on Mehringdamm to Mehringdamm 50 (approx. 300 m).

Alternatively, you can reach us by bus M19 (station U-Mehringdamm) or by bus 140 (station Yorckstr./Großbeerenstr.).
